Our Origin
System Cypresshub began in 2019 when two former datacentre cooling technicians in Pyeongtaek started documenting the gap between manufacturer hash-rate claims and what rigs actually delivered on Korean power grids. Early clients were small operators in Gyeonggi who had bought identical Antminer batches and saw wildly different electricity bills.
Rather than selling hardware, we built a repeatable bench protocol and a five-tier efficiency classification that accounts for Korea’s voltage stability, summer humidity, and KEPCO tariff structures. By 2021, fleet operators above 2 PH/s were commissioning comparison reports before every major procurement cycle.
What We Do Today
We remain an assessment-only practice. Our technicians benchmark mining equipment at 0.05 PH/s and above, assign efficiency classes, and produce written reports that procurement teams use alongside — not instead of — their own due diligence. We do not distribute, broker, or maintain hardware on behalf of clients.

Working Approach
We test under conditions that reflect Korean facilities: ambient temperatures typical of converted warehouse spaces, industrial voltage supply, and sustained loads rather than burst benchmarks. Every report states the firmware version, ambient temperature range, and meter calibration date.
We decline engagements where a client asks us to inflate efficiency ratings or omit underperforming units. Our class assignments are consistent whether you are buying from a distributor or auditing your own fleet.
Relationship to the Community
We publish field notes on efficiency trends, cooling mistakes, and procurement pitfalls. Several Gyeonggi mining cooperatives reference our class definitions in their internal procurement guidelines, though we remain independent of any hardware manufacturer or pool operator.
